Job Description

Signature Cosmetics is looking for a motivated Shop Assistant to create a welcoming and personalised experience for customers. The role focuses on sales, customer service, and maintaining a clean and visually appealing store.

The ideal candidate will support daily store operations, ensure stock and merchandising standards are met, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and create an inspiring store experience

  • Drive sales and support team members to achieve targets

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and a tidy, replenished sales floor

  • Manage stock levels, check for discrepancies, and escalate issues to the Area Manager

  • Ensure all products are correctly priced and labeled

  • Adhere to store operational procedures, point-of-sale, and banking processes

  • Support all store activities and operational policies

Candidate Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Passion for cosmetics, retail, and customer service

  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products

  • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and stand for long periods

  • Basic computer skills, including email and Excel

  • Calm and professional under pressure

  • Motivated to encourage customers and support team performance
